Fusion Trust’s objects include assisting individuals to learn appropriate skills and behaviour to exist harmoniously in the community and to assist them to realise their potentials to be worthy citizens contributing to the community. The trust has been incorporated as a Board pursuant to the Charitable Trusts Act 1957.

Recent projects have included assisting tidy the historic Woolston Cemetery, graffiti busting, running a variety of programs in Canterbury’s three prisons, and many road safety initiatives, often in conjunction with Road Safety New Zealand.

The Trust has for some time run Street Talk courses. These are aimed at instilling good attitudes in new drivers and help them develop potentially life saving hazard identification and response skills.

The Team

Vanessa Brown manages Graffiti Busters as well as helping in the trust office. She has been involved with Fusion Trust for the past four years and assists with the administration and support of our driver education courses.

Carolyn Green has been involved with road safety and working in the local community for the past seven years.

She is a Street Talk Advanced Driving skills facilitator, Safe to Go technician and Driver Education facilitator who manages the trust.

Frank Green is a Street Talk Advanced Driving skills facilitator, Driving instructor, Safe to Go technician as well as accountant for the Trust. He has been involved in Road Safety for the past four years and in local community work for over thirty.

He is also chairperson of the Kimihia Early Learning Trust established to enable young parents to continue their education at Linwood College while remaining close to their children.
